Basic Comprehensive MRO Training and Certification
*Required for all new MRO candidates certifying through AAMRO*
This training provides the qualifications required by the U.S. Department of Transportation and prepares participants for the AAMRO MRO certification examination.
Course Content
This training offers a comprehensive overview of the role and responsibilities of the Medical Review Officer (MRO) in workplace drug testing programs. The course includes detailed coverage of:
- Specimen Collection Procedures
- MRO Practices and Procedures
- Laboratory Testing
- Alternative Medical Explanations for Laboratory-Confirmed Drug Test Results
- Alcohol Testing
- Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Evaluations
- Technical and Legal Considerations in the MRO Process
- Guidance and Risk Management Practices
- Designer Drugs
CME Credits - This program is accepted for 21.75 prescribed credit hours by the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Board of Preventive Medicine.
